Hurricane Irene

As we saw with Hurricane Katrina, we learned what a hurricane could really do. The Center Hurricane National hurricane watch center indeed could not believe the Hurricane Katrina picture once the storm moved inland. Many remembered Camille Hurricane of the past and her devastation as the hurricane tracking showed that Hurricane Katrina would be similar to the Camille Hurricane and Hurricane Irene or even the Andrew Hurricane. The Hurricane tracker was an ominous site for those who will Hurricane watch as they waited for the biggest Hurricane New Orleans had ever seen. The storm surge was like Tsunami or Harbor Wave onto the Gulf Coast only this was a Harbor Hurricane of biblical proportions. Hurricane Miami weather center had already experienced the hurricane name of Katrina, which was a hurricane tropical storm rather than a hurricane national tragedy. As Hurricane Katrina path unfolded the hurricane picture was dim. Hurricane Katrina New Orleans would never be the same after this 2

Jobs at Apple

Steve Jobs stands beneath a photograph of him and Apple-co founder Steve Wozniak from the early days of Apple during the launch of Apple's new "iPad" tablet computing device in San Francisco, California, January 27, 2010. www.ThinkProperty.com.myJobs, who fought and survived a rare form of pancreatic cancer and revolutionized the technology arena with the iPhone and the iPad in the past four years, is deemed the heart and soul of a company that this month briefly became the most valuable in America. "I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple's CEO, I would be the fi

Mark Zuckerberg - donating

Image
Within hours of the announcement that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was donating $100 million to the Newark school system, the 26-year old tycoon's net worth was the spotlight of the financial world and a not-so-flattering movie about him debuted in New York. Coincidence? I think not. In this brilliant PR move, Zuckerberg is using one of the favorite techniques of all good parents - and presidents - the "redirect." A redirect is when someone attempts to deflect attention from a yucky thing is to something else. Just ask Bill Clinton about the bombing of the aspirin factory when the world was focusing on a stain on a blue dress. Unlike President Clinton's efforts to divert, Mark Zuckerberg's new-found philanthropic nature - and corresponding positive press - is more likely to produce positive results. What can we learn about this and how it relates to our own double bottom line strategy? Choose your CAUSE (redirect) very strategically.   Unlike President Clinton, Z

Best Adsense Alternatives

Image
This is by far the best adsense alternative I have ever, ever come across. Believe me when I say this. Not even Chitika does this well for me. I put the code on only 5 of my 32 page site this morning. By this evening I had earned 16cents. I know. To those of you hot shots out there, a measly 16cents is nothing to you, but for me, a nobody in the online world, like the majority of us out there, doing nothing more than just pasting a code onto a page which takes me less than 20 minutes to complete the whole site, is well worth the 16 cents. These will add up. It took me way longer to get clicks through google. Now, notice, I have only 47 page impressions Not bad, not bad at all. And the CTR is 21.28% again not too bad. They are an online technology company with a mission to change the current search-advertising market! The company is technology driven and obsessed with constantly improving product offerings and building products based on customer feedback and

Justin Bieber

Speaking to Radio Disney, the Black Eyed Peas star Will.I.am said: “I was with Justin Bieber in the studio two days ago, working on his new album, and we had a really great conversation. “Justin Bieber could be like Prince. Justin Bieber could be like Michael Jackson where his career is like, for like, ‘Wow! Explain its 2030, Justin Bieber, your career is so long. You’re the first artist to be broadcasted to Mars. How do you feel about that?’ Justin Bieber could be that dude.” Will.i.am also gave some details about the work that he and Justin had been doing in the studio. Read: Will.i.am gives Bieber advice to write his own songs. “That’s the conversation we had and then we started working on things from scratch like here right, I wanted to do something with Justin that probably no other producer would do or to took the time to think about to do. You know I’m excited about the stuff we’re making.” You Might Like: Will.i.am (BEP) gives Justin Bieber Advice to Writ

Gadhafi Speaking Live

Image
Libyan rebels say they are closing in on Tripoli from the west and the front line is now less than 20 miles (30 kilometers) from the capital. They say a 600-strong rebel force that set out eastward from the coastal city of Zawiya reached the outskirts of the town of Jedaim on Sunday. Murad Dabdoub, a rebel fighter who returned to Zawiya from the front, says forces loyal to Moammar Gaddafi were shelling the rebel force with rockets, mortars and anti-aircraft fire. Tripoli has been Gaddafi’s stronghold since the Libyan civil war began some six months ago, but it is not clear whether the embattled leader is still there. A couple hours after the rebels said they had attacked Tripoli, state television ran what appeared to be a live audio message by Gaddafi. He did not appear on television but sounded like he was calling the message in on a poor phone line which crackled at times. He announced the time and date twice to prove that he was speaking live.
